Carrot Hotdogs “Pigs” in a Blanket

Sure to fool the meat eaters in your life!

Ingredients

• 32 Baby carrots, steamed until tender, cooled

• 2 pkgs puff pastry aka crescent rolls (Publix brand contains no animal ingredients)

Marinade ingredients

• 1/4 cup white or apple Cider vinegar

• 1/4 cup Bragg’s liquid aminos

• 1 tbsp garlic powder

• 1 tbsp onion powder

• 1 tsp paprika

• 1 tsp liquid smoke

Method

1. Combine marinade ingredients and marinate steamed carrots in fridge for at least 24 hours or up to 3 days. The longer the better

2. Unroll and decide crescent rolls at seams then cut each one in half lengthwise so that one crescent roll wraps two ‘pigs’; roll carrots in dough; place on parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake per crescent roll package directions
