Dear Black Salt,

You are my newest fave spice. I adore your pink color and the mild egg flavor you impart in all the right dishes. You’re exactly what was needed to bring my Warm Potato Salad recipe to the next level. 🙂

Warm Potato Salad

  • 1-2 red-skin potatoes per person, cooked and diced
  • 1 tbsp finely diced red onion per person
  • Oil-free plant-based sour cream or mayo, enough to just barely coat the diced potatoes
  • 1/8 tsp black salt per person
  • Several turns of the pepper mill
  1. Stir together sour cream, onion & spices
  2. Add potatoes and gently toss until potatoes are evenly coated. Taste and adjust seasonings. Serve warm or cold
